The Process

How hot tub removal works

01

Book & Prep Electrical

Schedule the removal and arrange for a licensed electrician to disconnect and cap the electrical supply before our crew arrives. We have electrician referrals if you need one.

02

Drain the Spa

You or our crew will drain the hot tub before removal day. Most spas have a standard drain port. We'll walk you through the process when you book.

03

We Dismantle On Site

If the hot tub can be moved in one piece, we use straps and rollers to walk it out. If not — and with backyard spas, this is common — we cut it apart with reciprocating saws and remove it in sections.

04

Haul & Recycle

Fiberglass shell pieces and jets go to a recycling processor. Pumps, heaters, and metal components are scrapped. We leave the pad area clean and sweep up all debris.

FAQ

Common questions about hot tub removal

Yes — electrical disconnect must be completed by a licensed electrician before our crew begins. This is both a safety requirement and a Nassau/Suffolk County code requirement. We can refer licensed electricians on Long Island who work quickly. Budget $150–$300 for the disconnect depending on your setup.

This is our specialty. We cut the hot tub apart on site into manageable sections that fit through standard gates. We've removed hot tubs from every configuration — buried in landscaping, behind fences, on second-story decks, and in enclosed enclosures.

Concrete pad removal is available as an add-on service. Call us for a separate quote for concrete breaking and removal. Most customers choose to leave the pad in place for a new installation or use as a patio.

A standard backyard hot tub that can be moved whole typically takes 1–1.5 hours for a 2-person crew. A large spa that needs to be cut apart on site takes 2–3 hours. We always leave the area swept and clean.

Fiberglass shells are processed through a recycling facility. Pumps, heaters, and motors are scrapped for metal. Jets and plastic components are properly disposed of. We aim to divert as much material as possible from the landfill.

Hot tub removal in Levittown typically runs $299–$499 for a standard backyard unit with gate access. Levittown's compact 60x100 lots often require on-site dismantling because units can't fit through narrow side gates in one piece. Add $75–$150 if fence panel removal is needed. Most Levittown jobs are completed in 2–3 hours.

Yes — we serve all of Nassau County for hot tub and spa removal, including Levittown, Hicksville, East Meadow, Wantagh, Massapequa, Garden City, and all other Nassau towns. Our crew handles the specific access challenges of Nassau County's dense residential lots daily.

Yes — Levittown is one of our most common hot tub removal locations in Nassau County. Levittown's typical 60x100 lot layout often means the hot tub is boxed in by fencing or landscaping with no easy route out. Our crew handles this by dismantling the unit on-site with reciprocating saws and removing it in sections that fit through standard gates. Most Levittown hot tub removals are completed in 2–3 hours.

Hot tub removal in Nassau County typically runs $299–$549 depending on the size of the spa, access difficulty, and whether on-site cutting is needed. Nassau County's smaller residential lots — especially in Levittown, East Meadow, and Wantagh — frequently require in-place dismantling, which adds 30–60 minutes of labor. Electrical disconnect (required before we arrive) costs $150–$300 separately through a licensed electrician. We can provide a referral.

The hot tub should be drained before our crew arrives. Most residential hot tubs have a standard drain valve at the base — we walk you through the process when you book. If the hot tub hasn't been used in years and still holds water, we can drain it on arrival using a submersible pump, though this adds a small amount of time to the job. Let us know the situation when you call and we'll plan accordingly.
