How estate cleanout works
Walk-Through Estimate
We schedule a walk-through of the property (in person or via video call) to assess the volume and give you a firm written estimate. No surprises.
Sort Day
Our crew goes room by room. Items in good condition go into donation piles. Metal goes to recycling. Everything else is staged for the truck. We work systematically so nothing gets missed.
Load & Haul
Everything staged gets loaded into our trucks. We sweep every room as we go. Most 3-bedroom homes are completed in a single day with a crew of four.
Donation Drop-Off
We deliver donated items to local Habitat ReStores and Nassau/Suffolk area donation centers. You receive an itemized donation receipt within 48 hours.

Common questions about estate cleanout
A 1–2 bedroom apartment or condo typically takes 3–5 hours. A 3-bedroom home with full garage and basement is usually a single full day (6–8 hours) with a 4-person crew. A 4+ bedroom home or a hoarding situation may require 2–3 days. We'll give you a realistic time estimate during the walk-through.
Absolutely — donation is our first priority. We're a certified donor partner with Habitat for Humanity's ReStore network. Usable furniture, housewares, appliances in working condition, and clothing go to donation first. We'll provide an itemized donation receipt you can use for tax deduction purposes.
Pricing depends on home size, contents density, and number of truck loads required. As a general guide: 1–2 BR is $600–$1,200; 3 BR is $1,200–$2,200; 4+ BR or hoarding is $2,200–$4,500. We give you a written estimate after the walk-through and the price doesn't change unless the scope changes significantly.
Yes. Our crew is trained for hoarding cleanouts and approaches every job with sensitivity and zero judgment. We work methodically, flag anything that might be valuable or sentimental, and take the time to sort properly. We've handled some of Long Island's most challenging hoarding cleanouts over our 13 years in business.
You or a designated representative should be on-site at the start for a brief walkthrough and to point out anything to preserve. After that, you don't need to stay — many families choose to step away, which we completely understand. We'll check in by phone with any questions and send photos when complete.
